IP Adaptations
WEBTOON has so many wonderful IPs that it made sense for us to create adaptations. We normally worked with Crunchyroll, Amazon, or Netflix to make these animations possible, but this year I was tasked to work with external animation studios to make this happen.
Ordeal!
Our planning team was initially handling this project, but I took it over as my team and I have the most experience working with animation studios and providing Art Direction. Below are short clips of the series Ordeal by Brent Bristol.
You can read his wonderful series HERE
Ordeal Episode 4:
Animation studio: LICO
Producer: Tony
Associate Creative Director: Paul Hwang
Art Director: Enrique Rosado
Consultant: Brent Bristol
Creative Director: Karina Lopez
Brent's friend provided the cool music, and we worked with LICO to tighten up the animation and ensure it was faithful to the episode in the comic.

The Mafia Nanny!
The Mafia Nanny is WEBTOON's first-ever comic solely developed internally by the producer team. The comics that WEBTOON has on its platform are normally sourced externally, instead of being produced in-house. We reached out to the fabulous studio Psyop, and we partnered up with LECUBE to start working on 6 2-minute animated shorts. Unfortunately, due to some shifts in marketing needs, we had to stop production! I wanted to showcase the beautiful work our partners made for the series! It may not be a full animation, but it deserves to be seen! HERE
