BookWalker — Lead Creative Direction & Performance Design

Led the end-to-end solo rebrand and ongoing growth design strategy for BookWalker’s US platform. After successfully migrating the entire asset pipeline from an international team in a

3-month sprint, I established a long-term partnership focused on scaling their digital and market footprint.

  • The 90-Day Overhaul: Single-handedly designed the full look, feel, UI style guides, and motion graphics language for the website, app, and social launch.

  • Paid Media & UA: Concept, design, and animation of high-velocity paid marketing assets engineered for rapid user acquisition and app installs.

  • Storefront & PR Infrastructure: Own the creation of all official PR materials and global mobile app store assets to maximize conversion and brand authority.

Mobile App Storefront Assets

Executed the design and layout optimization for BookWalker's Apple App Store and Google Play Store storefronts during the US app revamp. I developed a unified panel template system utilizing core brand guidelines to deliver a continuous, cohesive visual narrative across all mobile and tablet viewport dimensions.

Designed and animated a high-volume suite of paid marketing assets for Meta, Instagram, TikTok, and X. I developed a flexible design framework that allowed for rapid iteration between broad BookWalker branding and targeted, series-specific promotional campaigns across diverse vertical and square aspect ratios.

Produced and animated the official US rebrand announcement video for BookWalker. I developed a unified motion-style language to introduce the new identity, delivering a high-impact asset tailored for broad social media distribution and critical internal company presentations.

Social Media Visual Identity Revamp & Content Strategy

Established the comprehensive look, feel, and motion language for BookWalker’s US social platforms. I partner closely with the internal social team to co-create and produce highly engaging, fan-focused video content and interactive reels. While building out these creative campaigns, I ensure all layout frameworks seamlessly adhere to strict publisher and licensing guidelines, beautifully balancing community entertainment with brand integrity.

The impact of the US rebrand didn't just resonate with fans—it caught the attention of the industry press. In a featured interview covering BookWalker's evolution, the spotlight turned directly to the new visual identity, discussing the strategy and execution behind the fresh look and feel.

UI App design

Designed and optimized a series of mobile web pop-ups for WEBTOON aimed at driving app installations.

To support rapid iterative testing, I engineered a suite of reusable templates and created multiple typographic, illustrative, and hybrid layout variations.

 

Through rigorous A/B testing, the combined text-and-image framework achieved an 83% conversion rate. Due to its high performance, the design system remains live on WEBTOON’s mobile site today.
