Morgana and Oz 

Morgana and Oz is a beautiful webcomic by the talented Miyul, it’s about a witch with the worst luck in magic and a shy vampire who’s a short king! We were tasked with creating a Snapchat campaign to connect with Gen Z readers, and I served as the art director for the project. I started by revisiting the story, chatting with both the editor and Miyuli to gain a deeper understanding of the series' background. I created mood boards, character sheets, and environmental layouts, and studied the art and storytelling style to stay true to the heart of the series. I also put together a pitch deck for studios we wanted to work with. We were on the lookout for studios that could match Miyuli’s unique style, and we found that in Trash Studio, a team that includes artists who worked at Studio Ghibli! They nailed it. The final videos met all our KPI goals and demonstrated the power of animation for webcomics. The best part? Miyuli loved it, and her fans were asking for more. That was the most rewarding part of the whole thing, bringing something beautiful to life and having it resonate with the people who love it most.

Reaction to the spots was wildly positive and they collectively garnered a 3.5% higher VTR (view-through rate) and a 16.4% higher CVR (conversion rate) than Meta advertising averages.
